Not always. Whether full jaw implants are right for you depends on a satisfactory clinical assessment. Like all surgery, implant surgery carries risks, which your clinician will explain, along with your options, before you decide.

Surgery usually takes three hours for both jaws. You leave the chair with fixed teeth.

No. General anaesthesia is not permitted for full jaw dental implant procedures in general dental practice. We offer oral medication before the procedure, which many patients choose to help them feel relaxed. During surgery, a local anaesthetic is given to the jaw area so the treatment site is fully numb and comfortable.

We regularly treat patients with bone loss, gum disease and periodontal disease. Our approach is designed to address these conditions, so you can still be a suitable candidate for treatment.

We focus exclusively on full jaw dental implants and do not offer single or sectional implant treatments. We would not be the right provider if you are looking for individual tooth implants.

In some cases, single-jaw treatment may be possible. However, the majority of our treatments involve both jaws, because decisions are based on clinical factors that support long-term stability and function. Our priority is to recommend the most reliable and durable solution for your overall oral health.

Both jaws are £16,995 and one jaw is £12,995. Our prices are all inclusive and carry no additional costs. We have no extras. Annual maintenance, currently £250 a year, is separate and is needed to keep your warranty valid.

Yes. From 1 January 2027 the price for both jaws becomes £19,995 and for one jaw £14,500. Book and pay for your surgery before 24 December 2026 and we will honour today's price, even if your surgery takes place in 2027.

Yes. For example, a £16,995 treatment with a £2,000 deposit means £14,995 is financed: £314.75 a month for 60 months (9.9% APR representative, 5.19% fixed annual interest rate). The minimum deposit is £2,000. Finance is subject to application, affordability, age and status checks, and a soft credit check will not affect your credit score. 21D is a credit broker, not a lender. We are a private clinic and do not provide treatment through the NHS or benefit schemes. We do offer flexible finance options to help make your treatment more affordable.

Your solution carries a warranty of 3 years for your implants and 5 years for your prosthetics. Any clinical issues, as discovered by the clinical team, that need revision on clinical grounds carry no fees for this period. This is on the basis that a patient attends annual maintenance every single year without fail. If the annual maintenance protocol is not followed, then the warranty is void. This does not affect your statutory rights.

The annual maintenance cost is currently £250 per annum (October 2026), payable prior to the appointment.

If the veneer is fractured and needs replacing, the cost is £500 per jaw. In the incredibly rare instance that the bar needs replacing, the cost of a new bar and veneer is £2,000 per jaw. If the bar needs clinically replacing, then both the bar and the veneer have to be remade.
