These fees only apply if you request the scan files for personal use. Scan files are sent digitally; we do not provide USBs or discs. To request copies of your scans, please email compliance@21d.co.uk.

Frequently Asked Questions

See all our FAQ's

I only need one or two teeth?

We don't do sectional implants and are experts in full mouth dental implants so we wouldn't be able to assist if you're only after sectional or individual implants.

What if I have bone loss/gum disease/periodontal disease?

We often treat patients with gum disease, periodontal disease and bone loss. Our solution is specifically designed with this in mind.

Do you put me to sleep during the surgery?

No. it is illegal to put a patient under general anaesthetic for full mouth dental implants in general practice. We offer oral medication prior to the procedure beginning which alot of our patients opt for, which can help relax our patients during surgery. Local anaesthetic is used to the jaw area to numb the site during surgery.

Do you do on benefits/NHS?

At 21D, while we don't offer repayment plans directly through benefits, we do have finance options available to help make your treatment more accessible. Our financing partner, offers loans with a minimum deposit of £2000. This is an application process that involves a soft credit check, which won't impact your credit score. If you’re interested in exploring this option or have any questions, feel free to reach out – we're here to help you through every step!

What if I only need upper/lower jaw only?

Currently very few of the cases we treat are single jaw cases. It is based purely on clinical parameters for long-term stability. The planning of medical prosthetics against natural teeth, particularly misaligned existing teeth is very challenging and can be unpredictable for long-term performance.
